Description

The Sales Operations Analyst works closely with the Sales Operations Manager to provide the sales organization with the required reporting and analytics to support decision making and drive business results. The Analyst is also responsible for reviewing current reporting processes and recommending process efficiencies as needed.       

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with the Sales Management team to develop reports and analytics that provide Sales with the right information to make informed business decisions and regularly review to ensure the insights and information provided are aligned to the needs of the stakeholders.
  • Responsible for delivering quality and accurate standardized reporting by Channel, Region and Territory.  This reporting includes, but not limited to Regional Sales Packages, Trade Spend Analysis, Selling Expense Analysis, TSM Performance and Customer Care Reporting.
  • Partner with Sales Management throught the Budgeting Process in order to develop the annual volume targets by Sales Territory.
  • Support ongoing data management exercises for regions or channels, as required. 
  • Produce a variety of monthly customer reports.
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to create Account Reviews of new and lost customers.
  • Analysis Pricing/product by region and by competitor.
  • Produce and communicate accurate customer lists as required – for mass mailings, regional mailings, etc.
  • Perform mass uploads of customer information into CRM as required.
  • Provide other ad-hoc reports and analytics upon request.
  • Automate reports where possible and continuously look for process efficiencies.
  • Provide back-up support and assist other team members as required.
  • Participation in special projects as required.

Direct Managerial / Supervisory Responsibility

  • N/A

 

Education / Experience:

  • College or university degree in Business or a related field would be an asset.  Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with software tools to extract data from the data source and navigate through the system with ease.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an Advanced level of Excel skills.
  • Computer savvy with experience using ERP’s, experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be an asset.
  • Experience within the operational side of the business (preferably sales) would be an asset.
