Description
Job Summary:
Reporting initially to the CFO and ultimately to the Sales Operations Manager, the Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for developing and overseeing sales processes and key metrics and providing leadership in sales reporting and analysis for the organization.
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
  • Development and management of sales processes and key metrics/reporting to surface potential areas for further inquiry and ensure inclusion of all key financial considerations
  • Provide strong analytical support for business case development including pricing and offering solutions for alternative company approaches for unique customer situations
  • Partner with sales management and finance teams to ensure understanding of reporting requirements in order to build cohesive/strong budget and forecasting/reforecasting
  • Provide individual customer, territory, region, country sales trend analysis and understanding of standardized financial reports to assist sales organization understanding of trends, implications, and potential opportunities or alternatives
  • Ensure issues raised, escalated as appropriate, resolved throughout organization to protect company from potential risks
  • Provide creative assessments and alternatives to business options, drawing on external expertise as required
  • Continuous improvement to data/systems support of budget and forecasting processes within organization
 
 
Key Competencies:
 
  • College or University Degree in Business or related discipline
  • Finance or Accounting Degree and/or financial designation is preferred
  • Strong financial reporting and accounting skills experience (5-7 years)
  • Strong financial data, systems and analysis experience (5-7 years)
  • Analytical/business process support (5-7 years)
  • Experience within operational side of the business (preferably sales) would be an asset
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to understand business operations and demonstrate value through partnerships within the organization
  • An action oriented individual who needs little direction or supervision.
