Job Summary:
Under the direction of the site Team Lead, the primary objective of the Warehouse Shipper & Receiver is to process customer orders and stock transfers and load/unload vehicles to ensure efficient turnaround times within the warehouse.
Key Accountabilities:
- Pick and process customer orders and Wakefield/Castrol stock transfers.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Participate in warehouse control and inventory cycle counting.
- Receiver functions.
- Warehouse housekeeping as required.
- Constantly strive to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform the required recommended fork lift inspection procedures.
- Liaise with shipping coordinators as required.
- Liaise with Logistic Manager and organize packaged goods shipments using Wakefield fleets or outside carriers.
- Support and promote the adherence to all Wakefield policies and procedures.
- Special projects and participation as required.

Education / Experience:
- High school or equivalent
- Lift truck experience with valid lift truck training or ability to obtain
- Good reading comprehension, in addition to writing and mathematical skills
- Ability to acquire proficiency in the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Must have, or be able to acquire, the skills required to successfully demonstrate basic PC skills and a proficiency in internet navigation
- First Aid an asset
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse environment.
- All required PPE must be worn while performing tasks
- Hours of work may vary according to operational requirements such as vacations, absences, and fluctuating work volumes.
